A machine for pointing round softwood fencing posts and tree stakes having the capacity to point posts up to 250 mm (10") diameter at the butt end. The point of each stake can be machined as a round “pencil” point or with a 4 way flat point for easy driving into the ground.

These machines are also used for general cleaning of the posts or stakes, removing excess bark, large knots or small branches.

The JOCAR point sharpener is a freestanding very simple machine which can be installed in a factory building or in a log yard without special foundations.

The standard machine is electrically driven. An alternative model is manufactured with 3 point linkage for tractor mounting with PTO.
