The But-End Reducer is designed to cut away flares on the but ends while preserving the natural conic shape of the logs.

Logs can be fed straight to the machine but it is also possible to infeed from right or the left.

Every log, regardless its diameter or length, will be reduced on the surface line of its natural shape. However, the oval shape of the log will be preserved.
