Founded in 1955, JOCAR started its industrial activity manufacturing electric welders and agriculture machines. Few years later, consequence of the success of these products the company diversified and increased its working capacity making also electric motors and wires in a purposely built new factory and some sawmilling machines in the old plant. Debarkers and Chippers were the first aim, followed, almost immediately by carriages, band and circular saws and a wide range of ancillary sawmilling equipment. Today, after forty four years over the beginning of these last activities, JOCAR can compete not only in the internal market but also abroad, being probably the only sawmilling equipment manufacturer in the world who can install complete sawmills, including turn key operations, exclusively with equipments produced in its workshop. Construction lumber, pallet boards, fencing slants and any other lumber production have no secrets for JOCAR. The high technology of the equipment, the most part of it electronically controllable, enables us to work with the most exigent customers around the world, offering a very good level of services and technical assistance
